Annual revalidation of CAPR 36-1, 4b(2). By letter from Maj. Gen. Courter, every CAP member must view the CAP Equal Opportunity policy. To do so, go to the website https://tests.cap.af.mil/EO_Training/Index.cfm, view the material, and agree to it. This will show automatically on your online records (Training section). In addition, unit commanders must post this information locally and brief it to all their members. Revalidation must be accomplished by 31 May 2009.

Who We Are

Group III one of five major subcommands within Texas Wing covers an area roughly defined as that delimited by a line drawn from Dallas south to Austin, east to the Louisiana border, north along the Louisiana border to the Arkansas border, then west to Dallas. (See map)

The Group is responsible for the Civil Air Patrol squadrons and operations within its area as defined above. The Group is responsible to the Civil Air Patrol Corporation and the Texas Wing commander for ensuring that corporate objectives, policies, and operational directives are effectively executed within the Group. The Group commander represents the Texas Wing commander within the Group.

Fully staffed with qualified and competent personnel, Group III focuses on supporting its squadrons, exercising supervisory functions on the squadrons' training, readiness and operations. Group III staff members represent Texas Wing as hands-on representatives, at the service of the squadrons.
