The members of Group III, Texas Wing welcome you to our redesigned website, that went online on the 65th anniversary of the creation of the Civil Air Patrol. This site, the same as our Group Staff, is here to serve the squadrons. Your Group III Staff is committed to providing the best possible service to our squadrons, and to be proactive and influential in our squadrons' success as units of the Civil Air Patrol.

We have three missions in the Civil Air Patrol: 

• Emergency Services,

• Aerospace Education, and

• Cadet Programs. 

To that end, my staff and I will work tirelessly to help our members reach their full potential  through participation in all three of our missions. The Group III Staff is formally committed to providing our squadrons with all necessary support in the form of personnel and time. Our focus has been and will always be Mission First through the Squadrons.

Our Group motto, The Third Always First, personifies our members' ability and desire to raise the standards in all that we do as Civil Air Patrol members. Merely accomplishing the mission is not enough for us. We also aim for excellence, which is best achieved by setting the standards for others in Texas Wing, Southwest Region, and the Nation.
