Our mission at Group III is to provide complete support to the Group’s squadrons in all aspects of their performance within Civil Air Patrol. The only reason we are here is to help the squadrons succeed. Without the squadrons, we would be unnecessary. We are also the Texas Wing Commander’s representative to the squadrons. 

Texas Wing is responsible for

• Establishing policies and procedures, and

• Developing strategic initiatives for Texas Wing as a whole. 

Group III is responsible for

• Ensuring that the squadrons implement and execute them to accomplish the missions as set forth by Texas Wing, and

• Providing support to the squadrons towards that end. 

Group III also ensures compliance with higher echelon regulations and policies.

Group III is a service organization.
