Promotions and awards were the order of the day at a recent ceremony of the 391st Composite Squadron, Group III , Texas Wing Civil Air Patrol.  The ceremony took place at the squadron's meeting room located on the second floor of Dallas Business Jet at Dallas Love Field.

The real prestige award of the evening went to Cadet Master Sergeant Luke Schlenker who was presented with the Air Force Association "Cadet of the Year" award.  Congratulations Sergeant  Schlenker.   C/SMSgt Zachary Holub, C/MSgt  Luke Schlenker,  C/TSgt  Luke Langlais,  C/A1C Joe Krupa  and C/SrA  Katherine Jovicich all received  the Air Force Association's national "Cyberpatriot" award.  The Cyberpatriot educational program exposes cadets to the world of Cybersecurity. C/A1C Madison Applewhite and C/A1C Joe Krupa were both awarded Rocketry Badges  after completing a comprehensive course in Rocketry.   C/Amn  Madison E. Applewhite was promoted to C/A1C and Cadet Noah Allen promoted to C/Amn. 

Lt Col Bob Sides congratulated all of the winners and said, "I look forward to next month's Promotions and Awards ceremony and even more winners".
